Find Colleagues at Workplace End-to-End Design

Mission

Evoko identified the need for a way for employees to easily locate one another within large, multi-floor workplaces. The Workplace App lacked visibility into where colleagues were working at any given time, creating friction in coordination and collaboration. This feature was designed specifically for enterprise environments, enabling coworkers to find each other by surfacing desk and room booking data in a clear, privacy-aware way.

Client

Evoko (now Biamp)

Sandy is a highly professional and talented Product Designer, and a valuable member of our team. She works in a structured way with an open mindset toward new ideas, and has a strong sense of our brand and how our products need to work and feel for end users.

She consistently handles complex tasks in a structured way, resulting in user-friendly designs built on a modular system we can continue to develop — an outcome I’m very happy with.

I especially value her leadership in organizing the sales team workshop and follow-up sessions. Thoughtful planning made a real impact and enabled the team to feel involved in the design process.

She is a key driver of our development efforts, giving me confidence as a project stakeholder when meeting with partners and customers. I would encourage her to take further steps toward a leadership role, overseeing product design goals, roadmaps, and strategy, while mentoring other designers.

Challenge

One the things I struggled the most was the lack of predisposition to user testing.
